| What is SmartCard? |
SmartCard
is your multi-function debit card that provides you with round the clock
access to your bank account for purchasing, cash withdrawals and other
transactions. |

| How to get your MCB Smartcard? |
Get the SmartCard by opening an
account with any of the over 900 MCB Online branches across the country.

SmartCard is available in the Classic and Gold category
with a further choice of Local or International versions. With these
card categories, supplementary cards for your family members are also
available. The difference between the classic and gold categories is
based on their purchasing and withdrawal limits as given below.

| How do I use my SmartCard? |
You can use your SmartCard at ATMs
and POS (Point of Sale) terminals. At POS terminals, the merchant will
swipe your card, enter the transaction details and you will approve the
transaction yourself by entering your PIN (Personal Identification Number).
Payment will be made electronically by debiting your account.

| Where can I use my SmartCard? |
| In Pakistan you can use your debit
card at merchant locations wherever you see the MCB Cards and Cash Free
sign. You can also use your card at any MCB ATM and on ATMs of MNET &
1Link member banks where you see the MNET & 1Link logo. Smart cards
can also be used outside Pakistan at merchant locations with the Maestro
sign and ATMs with the Cirrus logo. |

| What is a Point of Sale (POS) terminal? |
POS terminal is an electronic device
at merchant locations on which you use your card to make payments.
Are my limits different for cash withdrawal ATMs and purchasing at merchant
locations?
Yes you have separate daily limits for cash withdrawal and purchasing
(see Daily Transaction Cycle Limit Schedule).

| What is a transaction slip? |
| After completing a transaction at
ATM or POS terminal, the transaction details are provided to you on a
printed slip by the respective device. Retain this to reconcile your account
statement. |

| Is my PIN of SmartCard and MCB Mobile Banking the same? |
Both these PINs are different. Your
SmartCard PIN is issued by the bank for doing transactions at ATMs and
POS terminals. The Mobile Banking PIN is specific for this facility only.
Under no circumstances reveal your PIN to anyone….anyone! Your pin
is equivalent to your signature of approval
What if someone from the bank asks for my PIN?

| What if my PIN is disclosed? |
Immediately charge your PIN and notify
the bank.
What is the maximum transaction amount?
You can carry out transactions subject to the daily limit on your card
and the cleared balance in your account.

| What transactions can I carry out on ATMs using my SmartCard? |
| You can withdraw cash and get your
account balance from any MCB ATM or ATMs of MNet member banks. If you
have an international card, you can get cash and balance information abroad
from ATMs displaying the Cirrus logo. In addition the following functionalities
are currently available only on MCB ATMs:
- Funds Transfer - Bill Payments - Mini-statement - PIN Change

| Can I get a refund of an earlier transaction from a merchant? |
| Refunds are only allowed at selected
merchants. If your sale transaction slip reflects ‘No Refunds’
the merchant will not be in a position to do a refund transaction on your
card. |
