Government of Pakistan has approved revisions in the key features of PMKJ-YES with a view to make it more purposeful and beneficial for small businesses and agriculture. Moreover, the scheme has been renamed as Prime Minister's Youth Business & Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS). MCB is fully committed to provide financing facilities under the revised features of the scheme in the best interest of the farming community and to achieve the national objective of employment to eligible youth and also national food security.

The broad objective of the scheme is to provide self-employment opportunities to unemployed youth and to enable them to avail affordable financing from banks for establishing new business or strengthening their existing business.

Salient Features:

• The financing facilities are available for all type of agri business activities by the eligible farmers covering farm and non-farm sub-sectors.
• Loans can be considered for any type of agri finance needs covering short term (working capital) as well as long term development needs
• The Finance is provided under subsidized rate of mark up
• Scheme is valid till June 2023
• The applicant has to apply on portal
• Application marked to MCB will be processed further as per procedure
