Department Head Marketing Communication

JOB Description

As Department Head - Marketing, will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive brand visibility and customer engagement. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in marketing within the banking industry, demonstrating a strategic mindset, innovative thinking and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Infuse creativity into the development of marketing collateral, leveraging innovative design concepts and layout techniques.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of multi-channel marketing content and campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with product launches, promotions and corporate messaging.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for strategic marketing interventions.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective and impactful use of resources.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to enhance the bank's marketing capabilities.
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising efforts adhere to brand guidelines and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • From 5 - 8 years of progressive marketing experience within the banking industry, with a deep understanding of banking products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have positively impacted brand positioning and business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse marketing team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand integrity.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in banking marketing.
