JOB Description

The main role is to manage branches under jurisdiction and provide guidance to Branch Managers along with field force for smooth working, development of assets/liabilities and maintain healthy relations with existing plus prospective clients to ensure that targets of deposits/advances/profits are being met.

Give direction to branch staff for efficient & effective control / results to ensure that assigned targets of deposit, advances & profit are met.

Develop, implement and manage a best in class sales capability and foster a culture of team work through encouraging cross selling efforts within the branches in the region.

Ensure implementation of Service Management Program & Service Protocol by monitoring service standards for the region & initiating customer satisfaction surveys to obtain customer feedback.

Supervise all sorts of finances (fund based & Non-fund based) by evaluating & providing recommendations on credit proposals and also guiding BMs in recovery of bad debts.

Facilitate BMs on CRCD, SAMG, TSC, Treasury & FX Group, etc. for all related functions by acting as a liaison among these departments & branches.

Maintain high level of employee engagement, productivity & efficiency by mentoring branch staff, managing staff capacity, job rotation, transfers & identifying training needs.

Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML, accounts opening policy/procedures/SBP policies/Circulars/Foreign Exchange Manual by keeping close coordination with BMs & RHS.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Graduate degree from a recognised university.
  • Proficiency in Excel & handling databases.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking principles & procedures.
  • Understanding of banking operations, money markets & regulations.

Experience Profile:

10 years experience in running sizeable branch network, with accountability for strategy, cost & revenue.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence customers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
