Relationship Associate Acquiring-Digital Banking Group

JOB Description

  • Merchants acquisition: identify and target businesses that need card acceptance (POS, e-commerce, QR). Onboard merchants across sectors (retail, hospitality, fuel, healthcare, etc.). Perform site visits and assess merchant risk profile. To achieve, business growth targets
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Explain benefits of card acceptance, fees, and value-added services. Build trust and convert leads into active merchants. Maintain regular contact with key merchants to prevent merchant attrition. To achieve sales growth and portfolio growth targets
  • Merchant Documentation & Compliance: Ensure complete and accurate merchants KYC and onboarding forms. Verify business presence, bank accounts, and other documents. To ensure that merchants being on-boarded are compliant to policies and regulations
  • Merchant Deployment & Activation: Coordinate delivery and installation of POS terminals or QR kits. Train merchants on terminal use, reconciliation, & support. Ensure first transaction happens quickly. To deliver active merchants portfolio
  • Merchant Performance & Service Delivery: Tracking merchant activity, volume trends, and inactivity. Meet merchants and push for volume targets or campaign participation. Resolve merchant issues (terminal faults, delayed settlements). This enables active management of your merchant portfolio.
  • Cross-Selling & Up-Selling: Offer value-added services cash register integration, soft POS, QR, loyalty solution, merchant bank account, and new offers. Promote e-commerce payment gateway for eligible merchants. This delivers growing Bank’s business growth through this business line
  • Market Intelligence: Understand competitive pricing, terminal types, and incentive offers. Gather feedback on product gaps and relay to management. Spot new merchant clusters or trends (e.g., high QR usage zones). To ensure own product development and timely reaction to competitor moves

Experience & Skills

Preferably 2 years of sales or business development experience Promising fresh graduates may be considered upon evaluation

  • Decent English & Urdu verbal/written skills
