The Trainee Business Officer Program is aimed at providing development opportunities to potential fresh graduates and inculcates a culture of open communication and meritocracy. This program is an effort towards inducting, training and developing a cluster of Trainee Business Officers in line with MCB Bank Limited’s vision, culture and challenges to strengthen and energize the front line in order to enhance the image of the Bank.
Each stage of the Trainee Business Officer Program has been carefully designed to best suit our organizational objectives and more importantly provide incumbents an opportunity to encounter organizational dynamics to hone their skills and shape their abilities so as to carve out potential managers for the organization.
To be eligible for screening, the potential Trainee Business Officer should meet the following criteria:
- Master’s or 4 years Bachelor’s Degree from universities recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Age should not exceed 25 years (however, it may vary subject to business requirements).
- Fresh graduates will be given preference.
- The criteria may be relaxed for remote areas.
The TBO should have a proactive approach with the ability to adapt to organizational dynamics.
Short listed candidates meeting the criteria will be taken through a written aptitude test followed by panel interviews conducted country wide. This activity is aimed towards providing candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their strengths and ensuring that the inductions are made through a competitive selection process, to best suit the Bank’s job criteria and dynamics.
The new recruits will be provided with a 5-weeks comprehensive classroom training followed by functional rotation, focusing on areas of development in core banking, technical skills, communication and other skills. The trainee officers, after successful completion of the training, are placed in various business functions across the bank on Pan Pakistan basis.
The Trainee Business Officers will be exposed to various aspects of banking on a regular basis. Their rotation through different department / units will enable them to supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This is to provide them with relevant support and guidance needed for their professional growth and success.
The TBO program offers growth opportunities with a holistic approach. The officers inducted through this program are exposed to business environment in a way that not only develops a comprehensive repertoire of skills.
