Mr. Muhammad Haris Hasan is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in Credit & Remedial Management, and in the Restructuring and Rehabilitation of sick industrial units and businesses across Pakistan. Since joining MCB Bank in 2009, he has held several senior leadership roles within Special Assets Management and has successfully progressed to the position of Head SAM. He is known for his strong analytical acumen, cross-functional leadership, and deep understanding of recovery laws and regulatory frameworks. His ability to design innovative remedial strategies, drive structural improvements, and lead high-performing teams has been central to his contributions in strengthening the Bank’s asset quality and recovery processes.

Prior to MCB Bank, Mr. Hasan served in key positions at Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan (IDBP), Corporate & Industrial Restructuring Corporation (CIRC), PICIC Commercial Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, and Habib Bank Limited, enriching his experience across diverse financial institutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.
