JOB Description

MCB- Digital Banking Group is looking for an ideal candidate who holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration and brings minimum 7 years of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience preferably in banking industry. Mastery of financial reporting, cost control, and variance analysis is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed financial analysis. This role demands strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance, ensuring that the digital banking operations maintain financial integrity and align with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Serve as the primary financial manager for the Digital Banking Group, enforcing fiscal discipline and ensuring all financial activities support the bank’s digital transformation goals.
  • Design, implement, and oversee budgetary frameworks, ensuring budgets are aligned with strategic priorities and financial resources are optimized.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics and conduct variance analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives and advise on necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain strict adherence to financial reporting standards including IFRS and GAAP, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial disclosures.
  • Develop, monitor, and improve internal controls to protect financial assets and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities within the digital banking business, coordinating across departments to integrate financial strategies.
  • Manage a team of two financial professionals, providing coaching, development, and performance management to maximize productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by staying updated on relevant banking regulations and incorporating them into financial processes.
  • Conduct detailed cost control analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other financial tools to generate detailed reports, conduct financial analysis, and support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with digital project managers and business leaders to assess the financial viability of new initiatives and ongoing projects.
  • Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to senior management to support strategic decisions.
