JOB Description

To manage general and trade related transactions within branch and with TSC and liaison with SBP, Treasury & FX Group to ensure procedures and guidelines are being met in accordance with the Bank.

Forex officer reports to the Forex Manager or BM where applicable, depending on the size of the branch for business development, business goals & objectives and guidance & support, whenever required. The main responsibility of a forex officer is to handle all affairs of forex-related branch assignments assigned to them.

1	Periodical review of Trade activities & audit reports contributing to ensure sound operational health of the trade activities as per Bank & SBP guidelines.	20
2	Ensure that all goals given by BM are achieved along with maximisation of revenue generation through “import and export” and plugging of revenue leakages in the branch	20
3	Complete adherence to Service Management Program as set by the Bank to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.	20
4	Giving Trade related facilities under the strict compliance of UCP 600 and laws and regulations described by SBP.	5
5	Establish LCs, lodgement documents, retirement of documents, outward/inward remittances, deposits and withdrawal from foreign currency accounts and other activities as required for customer’s expectations while strictly adhering to all compliance norms.	35

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills	Graduate Degree, Knowledge of banking and forex operations, Banking Laws, Regulations, Risk Management.
Experience Profile	2-3 years of Banking experience.
Behavioural Competencies	Good Interpersonal, Communication and people Management Skills
