JOB Description

Business Financial Manager is responsible for optimizing the revenue and cost streams of the Digital Banking P&L. The role is responsible for planning, and providing insights and financial advice to the executive management team that will allow them to make the best business decisions for Digital Banking group.

Performing financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of Digital Banking business.

Oversee the operations and development of the Digital Banking finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

Preparing monthly performance reports (MPR), monitoring and enforcing compliance with tax ordinance and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

Prepare quarterly analysis to assist the Business Financial Controller and other management on approved budget with respect to actual utilization.

Advising colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the Digital Banking finance and new initiatives.

Mediating between the employees and stakeholders on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.

Creating strategic business plans based on the analysis of the Bank’s status and financial forecasts.

Ensuring maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.

Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting.

Ensuring the effective and efficient running of all administrative operations at Digital Banking premises.

Corresponding with other departments, discussing Digital Banking plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be from Chartered Accountancy profession, ACMA or ACCA with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • In depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
  • Budget preparation and investment appraisal.
  • Expert in analyzing business processes, process re-engineering, recommending solutions and implementing necessary remedial actions.
  • Skilled in handling problematic situations.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.

Experience Profile:

Minimum 5 years of industry or banking experience of finance
