Experience & Skills

4–7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, build and release management, or application deployment.
Must have practical hands-on knowledge of GitLab and Bitbucket, including repository management, branching strategies, merge/pull requests and access control.
Strong experience in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, jobs, stages, artifacts, variables and deployment automation.
Good understanding of CI/CD practices, automated build, testing, release and deployment processes.
Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows server environments and application deployment on Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, IIS, or other app servers.
Good scripting knowledge using Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, or Groovy.
Experience with build and package tools such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, MS Build, or similar tools.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, SonarQube, SAST/DAST and DevSecOps practices will be preferred.
Ability to manage deployments across SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, DR and Production environments.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving and pressure-handling skills.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree — BSCS, BSIT, MCS, MSCIT, or equivalent qualification
