JOB Description

To ensure the smooth and secure operation of IT systems by performing routine maintenance, resolving basic technical issues and escalating complex problems to the line manager. Also assist in providing technical support to maintain the Bank's IT infrastructure to ensure system stability for business operational continuity

Assist in daily operations within the virtual environment, including VMware servers, by performing routine checks, applying system updates and monitoring performance metrics to ensure optimal functionality and infrastructure reliability

Support to provide lst level technical assistance at infrastructue and OS layer to ensure high availability of the systems and smooth operations along with facilitating remote sessions for technical support to relevant stake holders

Assist in applying patches at the infrastructure and operating system level by supporting vulnerability remediation activities to enhance system security and ensure reliable operations

Assist the line manager in addressing IT audit and regulatory observations and provide support during disaster recovery drills to ensure ef}'ective business continuity planning

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline
  • Preferable Linux Certification
  • Knowledge of Linux (RHEL, OEL), Windows, VMware.
