Sr.Relationship Manager Corp/Comm (SME Centre)

JOB Description

The job holder will be accountable for managing SME Centre's Corp/Comm. credit portfolio and it's growth. Position will be liable to facilitate regional offices for achievement of Corp/Comm. targets/goals assigned by circle offices. The job holder will ensure quality service is delivered to customers through these centres while ensuring adherence to regulations, policies and procedures (both internal & external).

To make efforts for achievement of assigned credit/deposit/trade/recovery/revenue/delivery expense control/ cross sell and audit & compliance related targets/goals assigned by Regional/Circle offices

  • Marketing Visits to add new clients/borrowers and to retain existing in line with assigned targets and policy guidelines/targets
  • Visits of Pledge/Hypo sites / stocks as approved terms and Internal Credit Hand Book/CHB

Review / arrange approval on Credit Proposals (Fresh/ Renewals/ Reductions/enhancements/Expiries) (short term/long term) as per Credit Hand Book and SBP guidelines.

Supervision of all sort of finances (Fund and Non-fund based) and monitoring of upcoming limit expiries for timely elevation

To ensure reduction in maximum number of UERs of Unit’s portfolio

  • Managing team of Relationship Managers/Officers/Trade officers/managers
  • Liaising with BMs
  • Assessing training needs of SME staff

Monitoring and supervision of watch list / classified accounts and to assist other related departments/branches as and when required.

To ensure timely recovery of Mark Up as per approved terms/ in line with internal/external policy guidelines CHB & To ensure timely recovery of outstanding principal as per approved terms/ in line with internal/external policy guidelines CHB

Guide teams of RMs/RAs/Trade officers/managers on issues with RMG, LAG, CRCD, TSC, Treasury & FX Group, ARG, Region/Circle etc.

To maintain strong internal controls to ensure adherence to regulations as well as to internal policies in letter & spirit

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills:

MBA/M. Com or any acceptable Master Degree i.e., Masters in Business Economics/Finance/Accounting/Marketing or suitable /relevant Professional qualification like CA, CFA, ACCA etc.

Experience Profile:

  • 7 To 10 years of experience in running sizeable Credits/ SME Team/unit/branch, with full accountability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retail banking principles, practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of banking operations, regulations, and risk management, latest SBP regulations, FE manual, internal CHB guidelines etc.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to create Motivational environment
