JOB Description

To drive the growth of the bank's liability portfolio by providing direction, product expertise and functional oversight to circle based team of RMs and REs. The role focuses on optimizing deposit mobilization strategies and ensuring high standard compliance across the region through collaborative leadership with Regional Heads and General Managers. Also to ensure team productivity to achieve organizational goals for Current deposit growth.

Provide tactical guidance and Go-to-Market plans to Relationship Managers (RMs) and Relationship Executives (REs) to achieve regional / branch CASA and deposit targets, acting as the primary functional mentor

Monitor the sales funnel and KPIs of RMs and REs in coordination with Regional Heads and General Managers, identifying performance gaps and recommending corrective actions to meet business goals

Serve as the subject matter expert on liability products, equipping the sales force with technical knowledge and competitive intelligence to win high-value mandates

Act as a bridge between the Retail Banking Group and Circle/Regional Management to ensure resource alignment, seamless customer onboarding and resolution of operational bottlenecks

Lead the functional induction of new RMs and REs, providing on the job training and ensuring their technical proficiency and alignment with the bank's sales culture and service standards

Oversee the functional integrity of the sales process, ensuring the dotted-line team strictly adheres to KYC, AML and Fair Treatment of Customers (FTC) protocols

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge and Skills

  • Master's / Graduation from a recognized university
  • Understanding of liability products, local market dynamic and the regulatory environment governing retail deposits

Experience Profile

5 - 7 years of relevant experience in Banking Industry
