Technical Specialist e-Commerce-Digital Banking Group

JOB Description

Maintain optimal system uptime and availability through proactive monitoring and timely outage notifications to ensure service continuity and adherence to SBP guidelines.
Negotiate commercial and technical terms for invoices, development costs and new projects with internal and external stakeholders to improve departmental budgets and execute financial agreements efficiently.
Execute end-to-end technical support including UAT, system integrations and complaint resolution to facilitate smooth merchant onboarding and ongoing eGate operational stability.
Enforce internal policies and scheme compliance standards (e.g., MPGS, Card Schemes) through effective quality assurance and risk assessments to mitigate penalties and ensure product integrity.
Cultivate strategic partnerships and technical alliances with schemes and vendors (e.g., Euronet, CardZone) to explore new ventures and minimize project costs through effective resource locking and timeline management.

Experience & Skills

1 - 2 years of relevant experience in banking industry

Knowledge and Skills

Payment Gateway Technologies: Understanding various payment gateway options (e.g., MasterCard) and their APIs
eCommerce Platforms: Familiarity with popular eCommerce plugins/platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and their integration processes
API Integration: Proficiency in integrating APIs and handling requests/responses effectively.
Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
Testing: Ability to conduct thorough testing (integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure smooth functionality

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
