Threat Analyst

JOB Description

Continuously monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for indicators of compromise.
Analyze network traffic, logs, and other data sources to detect and respond to potential threats.
Collect and analyze threat intelligence from various sources such as open-source intelligence.
Conduct root cause analysis to understand the nature and origin of security incidents.
Work closely with other cybersecurity teams, including SOC, incident response, and risk management.
Generate detailed reports on threat activities, incident findings, and recommended actions.
Stay updated on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience

Qualifications

Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ IT related field Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, AV, MITRE, IPS/IDS

Certifications

CEH, Security+, ISC2 CC
